The article focuses on issues related to Commencement in the U.S. The month of May 2005 had come to visit the world. Much of that world was already in blossom and bloom. Everywhere people young and old were graduating from colleges, universities, and schools of every sort. It was Commencement time. It was time to begin again. From the steps at the schoolhouse in Alabama to Marine Corps schools in Quantico, Virginia, there was an ending and then a Commencement. This Commencement comes at the end of a war in Iraq.
