- The article focuses on what is known as the "dark web" and why law enforcement has not shut it down. Topics include how the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shut down the black market websites Genesis and the Silk Road, the Dark Web's original use by the U.S. Department of Defense, and the use of the Dark Web by ethical hackers.
