DOCUMENTAR EL CONFLICTO: fotoperiodistas vascas ante el terrorismo de ETA (1980-2011).

Modern photojournalism is built around the "myth of the war correspondent", a construction that hinders the visibilization of women. This article retrieves the name of four Basque female photojournalists, the only women in local news in a period that was marked by the terrorist organization 'ETA'. Through several in-depth interviews, the article approaches the conditions of production of their work, which was determined by the Basque conflict, the changes in the graphic codes of visual journalism, and their own experience as women.
