Abstract

Reaction conditions: o -formylbenzoic acid (1a) (0.2 mmol), benzylamine (2a) (0.2 mmol), acetophenone (3a) (0.6 mmol), H 2 O (1 mL), 70 °C. When the molar ratio of I o i -formylbenzoic acid/benzylamine/acetophenone was 1:1:3, the highest yield of 71% was obtained. Reaction conditions: o -formylbenzoic acid (1a) (0.2 mmol), benzylamine (2a) (0.2 mmol), acetophenone (3a) (0.6 mmol), H 2 O (1 mL), 12 h.
