Fortpflanzung, Zeit und gutes Leben. Eine Analyse von Richtlinien und Stellungnahmen zur Reproduktionsmedizin.

We examine representations regarding the relationship between time and the good life in reproductive medicine. We analyzed key guidelines and statements from Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and the USA, in particular regarding egg donation, egg cryopreservation and genetic diagnostics. The analysis shows that normative notions of good life and appropriate temporality appear both implicitly and explicitly in the regulation and ethical evaluation of many reproductive technologies.
