Abstract

The article discusses research published in the June 20, 2023 issue of the "Journal of the American College of Cardiology" which examined the effect of alcohol consumption on cardiovascular health. The study investigated the connection between light to moderate alcohol drinking and reduced stress. Another study evaluated the link between moderate drinking and lower risk of type 2 diabetes specifically among people who drank alcohol with meals.
