Abstract

Projective tests are a valuable tool for understanding the dynamics of psychological functioning and for accounting for the adjustments and rearrangements that take place. The time of adolescence, with the processes that accompany it, represents a moment of choice for a certain number of renegotiations (identity and identification in particular), which occur under the aegis of the issues of psychic transmission between the generations. In this context, this article proposes to apprehend the traces of traumatic transmissions in the current encounter with adolescents engaged in violent sexual acts. Using the Rorschach and the TAT, a certain number of indicators of these unconscious transmissions between generations emerge, in terms of identity and identificatory aspects, thought processes and the representation of origins. The highlighting of these indicators, based on the projective tests, contributes to the clinical identification of what, in the background of violent sexual acts, remains in suffering and causes suffering from the point of view of symbolization potential. Beyond that, the projective tests confirm their quality of relaunching symbolization processes, based on a scripting of the representations in the projective space. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
