Abstract
- The thermal response of a multilayered refractory-lined solar receiver has been compared with and without covering the aperture during the shutdown period. This includes an assessment of the influence of aperture cover on the overnight temperature drop, start-up time and thermal stresses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
