In 2022, religious Zionism, which represents the Israeli far right, had reached power. This event was not sudden nor unexpected; rather, it reflects how deeply rooted this current is within the various political system institutions. A presence that is supported by the parliamentary base and various coalitions, aimed at realising the West Bank settlement project, transforming it from being a tool to support colonialism projects to be a key player in the political system. The far right succeeded in exploiting the institutions of this system to support settler goals.
