As our train wound its way out of London and back into the countryside, the football fans dwindled in number until the only passenger who was left wearing an NFL jersey was me. In the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't have mattered too much if they had lost; the purpose of the day was to see what the NFL was like in London and to introduce my dad to the game I love, as he had introduced me to soccer when I was a little boy.
