Abstract

The article discusses the development of a new mouse model, NSG-Pro, with physiological levels of human prolactin (hPRL). This model supports the establishment of therapy-naïve, estrogen-dependent patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumors that progress to metastatic disease, providing valuable insights into the resistance mechanisms and vulnerabilities in human luminal breast cancers.
