A imprensa pela perspectiva da história oral: a contribuição de Alzira Alves de Abreu.

Alzira Alves de Abreu was present in the development of the fi elds that are conventionally called oral history and history of the present, in the period that extends from the foundation of CPDOC (center for teaching and research in the Social Sciences and Contemporary History) to the fi rst decades of the 2000s. Th e article analyzes the set of contributions that the historian makes to the theme to which she began to dedicate herself: the modernization of the press. At the same time that the theoreticalmethodological foundations and the results obtained are exposed, the main questions that arise in her investigation are discussed, such as the indistinction, sometimes, between the points of view of the interviewed journalists and her own.
