Abstract

Baseline characteristics were similar between patients with severe hemorrhagic complications ( I n i = 17) and those without ( I n i = 13), as well as UFH bolus at ECMO implantation and UFH doses during ECMO. In a recent series of 7579 veno-venous ECMO, 37% of patients experienced hemorrhages, and 21% presented both bleeding and thrombotic events while on ECMO [[1]]. [Extracted from the article]
