Abstract

The new coronavirus that is the source of the pandemic respiratory infection known as COVID-19 poses a major risk to the public's health. In this paper, we present a mathematical model of the spread of an infectious disease according to the characteristics of the COVID-19 pandemic. The proposed improvedmodel is developed on the AnyLogic system, which will be referred to as the SEAIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Asymptomatically Infected-Symptomatically infected-Recovered) model. The paper considers mathematical models that are used to analyze and predict the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, including time series analysis, equations of mathematical physics and simulation models, their various combinations and generalizations. Due to the novelty and complexity of the COVID-19 disease, the parameters of most mathematical models are usually unknown, and this leads to the need to consider and solve inverse problems.
