Performance and combustion of characteristics of diesel fuel with ethanol RME and Jatropha oil.

Nowadays pollution levels are increased due to the increase in the intensity of the vehicles. Crude oil petroleum product prices also increased due to the scarcity of crude oil. So many researchers are doing their projects on the replacement of petroleum products by adding non-edible oil. In this research, diesel is added with ethanol RMSE & Jatropha oil for reducing the price of the fuel & emissions without affecting the performance of the engine. Jatropha oil is converted into biofuel by transesterification process, the catalyst used in ethanol & % of sulphuric acid. Jatropha biodiesel & ethanol is added to diesel in different composition and tested in variable compression engine at different load condition. An emission test is carried out in AUL 5 gas analysed at different load conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
