Abstract

The article analyzes a regime of terror established for the management of relationships in contemporary Brazil, especially involving Kaiowá indigenous communities in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The text discusses the violence imposed on indigenous communities by white farmers, including beatings, forced evictions, murders, and disappearances of bodies. The author analyzes the dynamics of this conflict and the mechanisms that allow these acts to occur, highlighting the view of inferiority and dehumanization of indigenous people by white farmers. The text also addresses the influence of the rural elite in spreading hate speech and prejudice, as well as the lack of action by the Federal Police. The persistence and resistance of indigenous peoples reveal a search for existence and living according to their own conditions. [Extracted from the article]
