Abstract

The article reports that several major advertisers on social media platform X has cut off their spending after its owner, Elon Musk, endorse an antisemitic conspiracy theory on X. Topics discussed include companies that suspended advertising on the platform, including Disney, Lionsgate and Paramount Global, reaction of Jewish groups to Musk's post, and cut in the advertising spending of IBM that it had committed to X for the rest of 2023.
