Abstract

This article discusses four case reports of patients with gastric adenocarcinoma who experienced various toxicities and lack of efficacy while receiving immunotherapies. The patients, aged between 67 and 76 years, developed symptoms such as fever, immune-related myocarditis, shivering, urinary retention, and erythra during treatment with nivolumab, ipilimumab, trastuzumab, or sintilimab. One patient also showed lack of efficacy despite receiving sintilimab and ipilimumab. All four patients underwent surgery after experiencing these complications. It is important for researchers and medical professionals to be aware of these potential side effects when considering immunotherapy for gastric adenocarcinoma. [Extracted from the article]
