Abstract
- The article discusses the use of constitutionally mandated referendums to vote on constitutional reforms in the Commonwealth Caribbean. Topics discussed include a comparison of mandatory and non-mandatory referendums, levels of entrenchment of Caribbean constitutions, and the failed mandatory referendums in St. Vincent, the Grenadines and Antigua and Barbuda which aimed at amending the basic structure of their constitutions.
