Abstract
- This article discusses the challenges in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease (CVD) and highlights the potential of personalized medicine in improving outcomes. It focuses on specific therapeutic targets in CVD, such as phospholamban (PLN) and desmoplakin (DSP), and explores innovative approaches for personalized therapy. The article also discusses the role of gamma-secretase and heat shock protein-90 (Hsp90) in cardiac regulation and the potential for targeted strategies in treating cardiac disease. Additionally, it examines the impact of drug-nutrient-genome interactions (DNGIs) on the safety and efficacy of CVD drugs and the development of new equipment to aid precision medicine. Overall, the article emphasizes the importance of integrating personalized and targeted medicine in cardiology to maximize efficacy and minimize side effects. [Extracted from the article]
