Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 19-year-old Chinese female with facial erythema and papules. Examinations revealed a slight thickening of the facial epidermis and epithelioid granulomas in the dermis, and a positive purified protein derivative (PPD) skin and the T-cell spot test. The patient was finally diagnosed with cutaneous tuberculosis (CTB), was given quadruple antitubercular therapy, after which a 2-year post-treatment follow-up showed no recurrences.
