Abstract

The article focuses on responding to the significance of accurately diagnosing bruxism based on the established criteria, exploring the ACTN3 genotype's influence on muscle characteristics concerning bruxism diagnosis. Topics include the emphasis on bruxism diagnosis following international consensus, the limitations related to including patients pre-consensus, and the clarification of ACTN3's role in influencing muscle characteristics without directly regulating bruxism's circadian rhythm.
