A study on sustainable fashion design and pattern making with combination of drapes and golden and Fibonacci proportions.

The paper presents a study on sustainable fashion design and pattern making with combination of drapes, which are free, formed with a seam or darts, fixed in twist knot, and twisted ones, and golden and Fibonacci proportions. Combination between all kinds of drapery in golden and Fibonacci proportions are shown. The result of the study shows that every type of the sustainable long life fashion element drape can be successfully combined with sustainable proportions of the golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence. These harmonic proportions can determine the ratio between the neckline width and the neckline deepness or the deepness of the main drape fold of the free symmetric draped decolletage and the asymmetrical draped neckline, formed with a seem or darts. The drapery folds can be designed in the fames of golden and Fibonacci series triangles and rectangles. The places of the knot of twist knot drapes and the twist of the twisted drapery in the different parts of the clothes can be defined with golden and Fibonacci sequence proportions. And if the knots or twist are made by separate parts, these proportions are be used not only for drapes location, but in parts sizing too.
