A triple exponential smoothing-based data mart application: An implementation of data mining to predict the number of ship passengers to X islands.

X Islands is a natural marine tourism destination with plenty of favorite tourist spots. To go to X Islands visitors must board a passenger ship from the port. The design of the monitoring dashboard and prediction of the number of ship passengers is conducted to help the port manager monitor the number of ship passengers going to X Islands. The method used to predict ship passengers is the data mining process using the Time Series Analysis method, namely Triple Exponential Smoothing. The results obtained from this research are the formation of a data mart to store the analysis result data which will be displayed on the dashboard to help port managers read the information available on the data mart.
