Starting from the fundamental notes characterising democratic systems, the Author delves into the constitutional aspects of electoral systems in the current geopolitical context and with a comparative view. The democratic principle is read in correlation with its practical implementation, represented by electoral law, the stages of its elaboration and the related processes required to make democratic representation a reality.
