Abstract
- This article is a letter to the editor addressing concerns about a review article on the topic of "Second curettage versus conventional chemotherapy in avoiding unnecessary chemotherapy and reducing the number of chemotherapy courses for patients with gestational trophoblastic neoplasia." The authors raise concerns about potential overestimation of results due to the inclusion of two reports from the same study in the meta-analysis. They also question the comprehensiveness of the literature search and the inclusion of studies with a high risk of bias. Additionally, the authors point out inaccuracies in the reported denominator for the outcome of "avoiding unnecessary chemotherapy" and the deviation from the original protocol. The authors declare no conflict of interest. [Extracted from the article]
