Abstract
- A retrospective study conducted in Taiwan between July 2019 and July 2020 examined 10 patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who developed paronychia or pseudopyogenic granuloma while being treated with afatinib, erlotinib, osimertinib, or gefitinib. The patients also did not respond to treatment with timolol, neomycin, and tyrothricin for these conditions. However, when the patients were treated with 0.5% topical timolol solution, neomycin, and tyrothricin ointment, six patients showed improvement and all patients eventually experienced complete resolution of their paronychia and pseudopyogenic granuloma.
