Abstract
- In a retrospective case-control study, 18 patients who received olaparib for cancer treatment developed anaemia. The patients, including 2 men and 16 women, ranged in age from their early 30s to early 80s. All patients experienced grade ≥3 anaemia, with haemoglobin levels between 5-8.4 g/dL. One patient had their olaparib dose reduced, while the remaining 17 patients discontinued the medication. Some patients received red blood cell transfusions or iron supplementation. The specific routes, duration of treatment, and outcomes were not provided in the article. [Extracted from the article]
