Abstract

The National Museum of China in Beijing has opened an innovative exhibition showcasing ancient grotto art from five of China's most treasured grotto sites. The exhibition, which utilizes state-of-the-art technology, offers visitors an immersive experience of the Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves, Mogao Caves, Maiji Mountain Grottoes, Yungang Grottoes, and Longmen Grottoes. The exhibition's centerpiece is a 360-degree panoramic hall featuring a giant lotus flower displaying images of the grottoes. China's grottoes are renowned for their ancient Buddhist mural art and their representation of cultural exchange along the Silk Road. [Extracted from the article]
