This study deals with a scientific attempt to highlight the teaching programs in libraries and information departments in the UAE and Algeria. To achieve the objectives, the study used the analytical and descriptive approaches It was concluded that the Master's program at the American University is quite inadequate to form a framework that fills the acute and obvious shortage in libraries and archive centers in the UAE.
