Los indigenismos en la lexicografía guatemalteca decimonónica: el caso de los Vicios del lenguaje y provincialismos de Guatemala de Batres Jáuregui.

The article analyzes indigenous words in Guatemalan lexicography of the 19th century, highlighting the work "Vicios del lenguaje y provincialismos de Guatemala" by Antonio Batres Jáuregui. The frequency, etymological origin, and lexical fields of these terms are examined, as well as the value judgments in the work. The biography of José Luis Ramírez Luengo, a Guatemalan politician and philologist with liberal ideology and hints of racism towards indigenous people, is also presented.
