Abstract
- The article focuses on the role of judges in resolving environmental conflicts, specifically in the context of water rights and the environment. It discusses the challenges that judges face in adjudicating environmental cases, such as defining who represents all public and private interests in environmental litigation outcomes. It also highlights the NJC's programs on environmental law, including its Dividing the Waters program and its new Western Judicial Consortium on Water Law.
