Abstract

The game is understood as a complex phenomenon in which the player's action is characterized by its ethical nature, as it expresses subjectivity and aims for the good life (in the case of game, pleasure and victory). Thus, the ethical nature of the player's action is forged in a gaming environment where unpredictability, dynamics, and new organizations are present. Therefore, part of the player's role is to understand the environment in which they find themselves, that is, to understand how the organizations of the game are produced. Similarly, Albert Camus' concept of "absurdism", created by the French-Algerian philosopher, resembles this requirement to understand the environment in which one lives by exalting awareness. Consequently, according to Camus, the only possible movement after becoming aware of the absurdism is revolt, an action based on the expression of the individual, aiming for justice, collectivity and unity, within limits that must not be exceeded. Hence, the possibility of understanding the player as a man in revolt in the game, seeking, given the identification of the environment in which they find themselves, the success of their team through their actions.
