Abstract

This article is a correction to a previous paper on the collisional rate coefficients for H3O+ - H2 interactions in warm interstellar clouds. The authors discovered errors in the supplementary material of their previous paper, which were caused by a software bug in the calculations of high energy cross sections. The corrections made to the data have a minor impact on the rate coefficients at lower temperatures, but some specific transitions are significantly affected at higher temperatures. However, these corrections do not change the overall conclusions of the original paper. The corrected data is available in the supplementary material and through various databases.
