Abstract

When we take a closer look at the urban space, we see that its multiplicity of arrangements and possibilities reflect the groups that pass through it and not only is it constituted from them but also interferes with these subjects, in a mutual relationship. In this sense, when thinking about LGBTI+ subjects, we perceive a diverse group formed by identities that together form the socalled sexual minorities or dissident sexualities. Regarding these subjects, it is possible to notice that they use the urban space and its structure to form support and sociability networks and, in some cases, delimit territorialities and spaces of coexistence. From the unpublished and recently published data of the National Health Survey PNS 2019, it is possible to verify some issues related to this public, and this article aims to address such perspective and verify some aspects related to the health of LGBTI+ people and to infer about how the urban space can interfere with and become suitable for the development of programs targeting of this population's health.
