Japanese Nationwide Comparative Survey of Medication Guidance Provided by Certified and Uncertified Palliative Care Pharmacists.

The article presents a study which surveyed the status of medication guidance for the physical and psychological symptoms of patients receiving palliative care and compared the medication guidance provided by certified and uncertified pharmacists. Topics include requirements for board certification as a pharmacist in palliative pharmacy, intervention guidance in relieving symptoms other than pain, and background characteristics of pharmacists.
