Contribución del aprendizaje basado en proyectos a la asignatura Sistemas de Bases de Datos II.

Cuban higher education demands the use of methodologies that encourage active participation of students in their training process and provide knowledge, skills, values and study habits that facilitate their insertion into the professional environment. This research aimed to describe the contributions of Project Based Learning in the subject Database Systems II in the third year of the Faculty of Educational Technology of the University of Computer Sciences. A descriptive research was carried out using the survey technique with a sample of 83 students. The main results were superior academic performance in terms of passes and grade quality, greater student satisfaction with their teaching process and a positive influence of some study habits initially diagnosed, which confirms the relevance of its use for train more prepared, independent and committed professionals.
