Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. There has been a worrying occurrence of increasing morbidity in humans. The problem in modern cardiology is the fact that more and more often the patient's condition, as well as changes in imaging tests, are ambiguous and changeable. Therefore, in addition to known and routinely used biomarkers in cardiology, research on new diagnostic tools is constantly underway. New biomarkers are needed to predict cardiovascular events and optimize the entire decision-making process faster.
