Abstract
- Abstinence is not a necessary requirement for improving measures of health and recovery among people with stimulant use disorder, according to a study published last week in Addiction. The study, "Reduced drug use as an alternative valid outcome in individuals with stimulant use disorders: Findings from 13 multisite randomized clinical trials," analyzed trials for treatment for methamphetamine and cocaine use disorders.
