Leukemic non-nodal cyclin D1- and SOX11-negative mantle cell lymphoma with CCND3::IGH rearrangement.

LNN-MCL is characterized by abnormal B-cells in the blood and bone marrow, without significant lymphadenopathy. Typically, LNN-MCL is associated with the overexpression of cyclin D1 protein, but in this case, the patient had a rearrangement of the CCND3 gene instead. The authors highlight the challenges in diagnosing cyclin D1-negative LNN-MCL, as it can be mistaken for other types of lymphoma.
