Equipamientos universitarios y ciudad: aproximaciones a esta relación en las comunas 1,4 y 8 de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.

This article addresses the relationship between university and city from a spatial urban perspective. Focusing on the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), cradle of important university institutions that increased from the 1990s, Communes 1, 4 and 8, which involve 56% of the universe, are studied in a descriptive and exploratory manner. of existing university facilities (considering the venues) within the famework of processes of urban transformation and renewal in the City. Through the documentary analysis technique and the elaboration of georeferencing maps, the characteristics, typologies, locations and relationship of the universities with the dynamics of their urban environments are investigated, producing evidence in a vacancy area about the key role that university facilities assume, in different stages, in the configuration and development of the urban areas where they are inserted and with the general urban structure.
