Abstract

The objects of the study were TiN-Mo cermet, as the final product of the reaction. Thermogravimetric study of cermets of the TiN + Mo and 2TiN + Mo systems revealed two exothermic peaks at temperatures of 560 °C and 700 °C, which may be related to the oxidation of dissolved and of titanium. The increase in mass after a complete heating-cooling cycle at the maximum temperature of 950 °C was 5%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
