PELATIHAN TENTANG CARA PENCARIAN DAN PENGGUNAKAN SUMBER-SUMBER INFORMASI PADA PARA SISWA SLTP DI DESA MARGAMUKTI KECAMATAN PANGALENGAN KABUPATEN BANDUNG.

The aim of this activity is to provide training on how to search and use information sources for students. The location of this activity was carried out at Madrasah Tsyanawiyah (MTs) Ihlasul Amanah Pangalengan Bandung Regency. The participants were students from class VII to Class VIII. This community service activity is carried out offline with the number of participants limited to only 40 people. There were several topics discussed by the speakers, ranging from information technology, information literacy and media literacy to how to search for and use information sources. The method used in this activity is in the form of counseling and practice on how to search and use information sources. To find out the results of this activity, a pre-test was carried out before delivering the material and a post-test was carried out after delivering the material. Based on the results of this activity, it is known that students generally know how to search for and use information sources. Moreover, the use of information technology such as gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic became the main tool in the student teaching and learning process. Therefore, students are accustomed to using technology in the teaching and learning process and searching for sources of information for completing school assignments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
