The Centro Andaluz de las Letras is 25 years old. During this period it has worked from Malaga for the whole of Andalusia under the direction of four writers and a writer, with a staff structure of twenty-four people. It maintains more than four hundred permanent reading clubs and a programme in the eight provinces to encourage reading and promote books. It is now embarking on a process of renewal to support the book and reading sector by innovating in cultural management, with a programme with new formats and contents, seeking to reach a wider public and favouring the encounter of literature with other fields of contemporary creation and thought.
