Abstract

The case refers to a middle-aged man who presented with a complete cavernous sinus syndrome and was found to have a ruptured cavernous carotid artery aneurysm. This could not be addressed with endovascular means after two attempts. He was treated with an EC-IC bypass with a radial interposition graft, trapping of the aneurysm with preservation of the ophthalmic artery and suction decompression of the aneurysm.By David Fernandes Cabral; Bhuvic Patel; Mohammed S.
