Abstract
- A 32-year-old man experienced a left arm contusion and left foot hematoma after overdosing on warfarin, which he was taking for dural sinus venous thrombosis. The man had a history of alcoholism and tobacco use but had stopped two years ago after his diagnosis. He received vitamin K therapy to reverse the anticoagulation and was prescribed various medications for his symptoms. Despite being advised to undergo surgery for the hematoma, he declined due to financial constraints and was discharged from the hospital. He was prescribed rivaroxaban, chymotrypsin, and amoxicillin/clavulanic-acid for five days and was recommended to have a follow-up after a month. [Extracted from the article]
