Abstract

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is retracting six research papers and correcting 31 others due to allegations of data manipulation. British molecular biologist Sholto David flagged nearly 60 papers published between 1997 and 2017 that contained image manipulation and other errors. The papers were authored by Dana-Farber's CEO and COO and covered topics such as multiple myeloma and immune cells. The investigation comes after similar investigations into the published work of former presidents of Harvard University and Stanford University. [Extracted from the article]
