Abstract

This paper presents a website development of the project planning consultant of the construction in providing a service required by the clients efficiently, effectively, and satisfactorily. It is identified that some of the existing consultant websites are still restricted to inform the specific company profile only such that the clients may not be able to perform a detailed discussion about the constructed project. The consequence is the loss of opportunity to accomplish the project. Hence, it is crucial to improve a better e-service. The quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is implemented to design on a basis of principle usability and user experience (UX) approach. A computer-based survey was conducted to identify some attributes of the website that users are examining and also to determine the usability level and responsiveness of the proposed website. Thirty experienced respondents were participating in this study. The non-parametric statistic was administered to examine the hypothesis. Results of the study display that the design developed are valid to satisfy user criteria in which this design is more effective which is 99.23% of success and more efficient at 72.06 seconds in completing the task. Furthermore, the measurement of the user response level to the improved website results in an excellent category possesses 91.77% as the final score. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
