Review of national standards related to the performance of radiation portal monitors.

Radiation Portal Monitors (RPM) manufactured by the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia made from NaI(TI) Sodium Iodine crystal scintillators gamma-ray detectors. Due to the certification process, this RPM was tested followed by SNI IEC 62244:2016 in 2019. seven procedures were unable to do because of the limitation of the facility in Indonesia, six procedures meet the requirement and two procedures didn't meet the requirements of the standards. In 2021, the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BRIN) released a new version of the standards, SNI IEC 62244:2019. Due to ensure that RPM meets the new standards, a throughout review should be done for every requirement in the new standards. The result of the review shows that there are significant differences in some clauses and test procedures. For ensuring that RPM meets the new standards, we can conclude that all the procedures required in the new standard need to be tested. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
