Abstract

In view of the characteristics of a domestic concentrator s nickel flotation process, including unstable ore quality, large fluctuation of concentrate grade and unsatisfactory recovery rate. Combined with the current situation of incomplete testing equipment) long testing cycles, and high costs in the flotation production site; an intelligent control system for flotation process based on grade prediction model was designed. After the system was put into operation the stability of foam flow rate was significantly improved and the fluctuation of concentrate grade was significantly reduced, which proved the practicability of the system.
